Grammar Tibbit #2 - Good v. Well
Good is an adjective, well is an adverb.
Adjectives describe nouns; adverbs describe verbs.
Now comes the question that makes every grammar nazi cringe: “How are you?”
Is the correct answer well or good?
I have always stayed with tradition and said, “well,” however, there is reason to believe that both answers may be appropriate due to the complex nature of verbs.

Grammar Tibbit #1 - Imply v. Infer
I love grammar. I’m not a grammar nazi, however, because i have not perfected my grammar. I only know three people who have perfected the art. However, I digress.
Many people confuse when to use imply/implication and infer/inference.
An easy trick is to relate it to the following: the message, the sender and the receiver.
The sender can imply.
The receiver can infer.
